Faith Boogie Bio

Who is Faith Boogie?  In case you haven't heard, she's without question the most talented, youngest female rap artist in the game today at only 16-years-old.  Born and raised in Richmond, V-A, she's been singing since the age of 5, and writing and dropping rhymes since tender age of 9.  Between writing rhymes and laying down tracks, she's also an honor student and varsity b-ball player.

In case you missed it, she's only 16 - that's right, 16-yearls-old - and has already captured the attention of respected artists and producers in the game.

Her style is so unique and original that when she was 11 her flava was captured by the world renowned R & B singer, Sisqo.   She has recorded with One Up Entertainment who has worked with some of the biggest female stars in the industry including Jennifer Lopez and Mya.  Her sensation created such a buzz, it led to a live stage performance with Rocafella rapper Freeway in Baltimore, MD in 2002.  Since then Faith has opened for Doug E. Fresh and E.U., along with perfomances with 112 and ATL.

Buzz and lots of attention and success to all out world-wide exposure in early 2006 when MTV - yes, the real Music Television - caught wind of young Faith and flew out to her home in VA to film a segment for their show, 'You Hear It First' (click here to watch) After that Faith was getting fans showing her love from San Fran to Sri Lanka!

Hot off MTV's flame, Faith was able to get out of the studio for a bit and in front of the camera in her hometown of Richmond for her very first video shoot.  Nothing short of phenomenal, Faith's first video was for her single 'Phenomenon' - proving again that Faith can do just about anything!  Check out a clip of the video here or you can go to the order page and purchase a DVD of the video here.
